Camp Israel 2023 – Camp Rules of Conduct

VIOLATIONS of the Code of Conduct and Personal Equipment Checklist will result in campers being sent home from camp. Depending on the severity of violation, the campers may be given an opportunity to comply, but if they elect not to comply or continue to violate camp rules, they will be sent home from camp early. It remains the responsibility of parents/guardians to provide transportation for participants.

Disciplinary actions are to be addressed by Camp Presidency and Camp Directors. If you are aware of a situation, please bring it to the attention of a member one of the Camp Presidency.

  • Adhere to the standards in the For the Strength of Youth pamphlet in language
  • Public displays of affection, smoking, vaping, drug use, foul language, and suggestive or revealing clothing are not appropriate at church activities
  • Help every chance you get.
  • Thank everyone – the Cooks, the Speakers, your Leaders, everyone. “Attitude of Gratitude”
  • Remember the code of Camp Israel: EFIGIAYG! “Enthusiasm. Feel it. Give it all you got!”
  • Lights out every night means – “Go to Sleep!” - Campers are not to be outside of their zone’s designated cabin area after 11:30pm.
  • Pranks of any kind ARE NOT allowed
  • No camper leaves camp at any time without notification and permission of the Camp Director
  • No camper is allowed to use or drive a vehicle while at camp (even if it is your own car)
  • BE SAFE! No swimming except at designated free swim time. “Think before you do”
  • Stay with your assigned Team and Squad at ALL times
  • Be respectful of youth and adult leaders and guest presenters.

Attendance is required at all camp activities by all participants, unless previously arranged with camp medical staff AND camp director.
